NT Pharma engages in the production of pharmaceuticals through its subsidiary Suzhou No. 1 Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a comprehensive pharmaceutical enterprise with a long history of nearly five decades. Covering an area of 38,000 square meters, the factory has GMP lines producing API, powder for injection, lyophilized powder for injection, sterile raw materials, and solid dosage. The factory has 169 State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) certified pharmaceutical production certificates covering psychotropic drugs, drugs for cardiovascular diseases, antibiotics and products in a number of other therapeutic areas.
 

　　At present, the Company is building a new factory in the Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park in accordance with FDA and European Union standards. Construction of the new factory is expected to complete by the end of 2009, followed by GMP certification from the State Food and Drug Administration, and full production is expected to commence in March of 2010. Capacity of the new factory design will increase to 50 million lyophilized powder injections, 50 million powder injections; 1 billion tablets (including oncology drugs). With the new factory, Suzhou No. 1 Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. will become a world-class manufacturing facility that not only meets the needs of NT Pharma’s own-branded products but also contract manufacturing needs of multinational companies.
